Family Island is a fun and popular mobile game in which you must gather resources, complete different quests and build your island. These actions will help you level up and unlock more features. Overview of Family Island

Family Island takes place on a deserted island where you must gather resources and build structures. There are lots of different missions like general quests, resource farming and island development. As you level up, new features will be available like new islands and decorations. You will also get access to special events. 

How to level up fast

There are lots of different things to take into account if you want to level up quickly. Here are the most important ones: 

• Complete Quests: Focus on both Home Island and Expedition Island quests. They provide substantial experience points.
• Gather Resources: Regularly collect resources like wood, stone, and food to craft new items and buildings.
• Upgrade Buildings: Improve workshops and other key structures to make resource production more efficient.
• Participate in Festival Islands: From Level 8 onward, you can participate in Festival Islands, which provide XP and exclusive rewards.
• Use Resource Exchange: Convert surplus resources into XP. This helps you maximize your resource collection.

Resource management and storage

Resources are a VERY important part of the Family Island game. Resource management can sometimes become tricky, especially as you level up, so be very careful. Here are the common resources that you’ll need: 

• Wood
• Stone
• Food
• Crafting materials (iron, clay, copper, etc)

As you gather resources, your storage will fill up quickly. Make sure you clear your inventory by regularly crafting items or trading resources. You can also discard unwanted items if necessary, but make sure you keep rare resources like sapphires and emeralds. Trust me, you will be needing them later on. 

Merchant and Shaman orders

Every now and then, the merchant will visit your island with a list of items you need to gather and trade with him. By completing these orders, you can win different rewards like rubies, XP and special items. 

The merchant’s orders change every time he visits and you can complete a maximum of 9 orders per visit. Higher-order completions will get you better rewards. You can decline orders but too many declines can lead to lower rewards next time the merchant visits. 

The shaman will also request specific orders on your island. They can often be exchanged for rare items or rubies. You can access the shaman’s altar on the right side of Home Island. You will need to build the bridge to access it and fix it. 

Family Island decorations

Decorations are key to making your Home Island look beautiful and functional. Some decorations even provide bonuses such as free energy or special items.

Some decorations serve as energy generators like the Totem of Happiness, Amphora of Plenty Energy Generator, and Home Theater Energy Generator. Energy generators provide a certain amount of energy before they need to be recharged. Once they run out, they become regular decorations.

You can get decorations by collecting them by participating in events or buying them with your rubies. 

Daily tasks and rewards

Daily tasks are a good way to earn different rewards like XP, rubies and useful resources. They are updated each day and you can find them on the daily task board. Generally the tasks include gathering resources and upgrading buildings. 

A good tip is to focus on completing tasks that can give you rubies or XP. Also, log in daily, even if you can’t play for long, so that you don’t miss out on rewards. 

Event Islands 

Event Islands are special islands that appear periodically, offering unique challenges, rewards, and the opportunity to gather exclusive resources. They will give you free XP resources and, sometimes, even rubies. Some event islands even contain very rare resources that are only available during special events. 

Make sure your inventory and resources are ready to maximize the rewards from each event and be sure to complete them when they appear.
