Levelling up in Monopoly Go can bring you all kinds of rewards like card packs, dice and more. But, on the downside, it can cost a lot of cash. On this page we’re going to give you all of the tips and tricks to level up fast in Monopoly Go. Let’s get into it.
What does leveling up mean in Monopoly Go ?
In the game, you have all of your buildings on the left-side tab (see image below). There are five buildings which all need to be upgraded to maximum level for you to level up and go to the next board. Each time you do one upgrade, your net worth will also go up, which gives you rewards and multipliers.

The more you level up, the more rewards you will get. You can see your upcoming rewards in the net worth section in the menu (see image on the left).
These steps will give you more rewards when you land on certain properties, like electric payout or red property payout.
Taking advantage of builder’s bash
One of the best ways to level up in Monopoly Go is to save up your coins until you are able to upgrade a whole board at once. Then, wait for the builder’s bash event which you should get every day or two. During this event, you can build for a discounted price, as follows :
- Building 1 : -50%
- Building 2 : -40%
- Building 3 : -30%
- Building 4 : -20%
- Building 5 : -10%
By doing this, you can save a lot of cash. If you have enough, you can even complete multiple boards in one go. You also save your shields because when you have nothing built, you can’t be attacked.
Participating in events
Events are a great way to earn extra coins which will allow you to level up quickly. There are top bar events and side bar events. The top bar event usually lasts for a few days and you need to click on it to know which tiles will help you progress for this particular event. The sidebar tournament is generally shorter in time, but you can get lots of different rewards like card packs, dice and cash. Completing milestones in them will give you lots of rewards and resources to play and save up coins to build.
There are also other events like Peg-E and Carnival Games. These are specific events where you can earn huge amounts of resources. Some of them are even partner events, like the racing event.
Complete Quick Wins
Quick Wins can be found in the bottom left tab of the game, right next to the building tab. Here, you will find 3 tasks a day to complete for different rewards. When there is an active event, you will receive items to progress. These can be quite generous and the tasks are very easy to complete. For example, you could be asked to roll doubles 2 times, upgrade a building one or two times or collect a sticker.
Make sure you save up a hundred dice or so, so that you can complete the tasks instantly.
Claim Monopoly Go freebies
The game developers release one or two free dice links per day. Claiming them will help you be able to play for longer and therefore level up quicker. We centralise all the freebies on our Monopoly Go free dice page. The page is updated daily, so be sure to check back often.
